Ode to 2021

To dismiss 2021 as a “bad year” would be to disregard all the progress that was made, not only in my personal life, but in the movement For The People in the city of San Francisco and across the United States.
2021 got me out of my comfort zone. Wayyyyy out of my comfort zone. It was exhilarating, at times depressing, never boring, and always a learning experience. I wholeheartedly believe that the seeds planted in 2021 will sprout into movements resulting in a better way of life for the future generations.
